O.S. Engines in Japan have announced a super exclusive series of 80th Anniversary Limited Edition OS MAX-11AX engines, for delivery in December 2016.
In an interesting twist, Model Engines must place back orders for all three engines before the 20th September 2016. While we may order as many of the standard non-plated versions as we like, the GOLD and PLATINUM versions will be subject to a ballot at the OS factory. So we may get enough to fullfill our back orders, or maybe we won't. This is guaranteed to make these engines collectors pieces. Each GOLD and PLATINUM engine will be marked with a serial number between W1936 and W2015, so only 80 of each, world wide!Specifications:
